discussion Applying static grass

When I applied static grass onto my terrain most of it stuck however some of it is still lose. I used PVA glue but I was wondering is there some technique on applying static grass?

hi stefan, im no expert on grass ( that sounds vaguely shady doesnt it?!!) but ive used sand in the same way on a desert scene, ie. sprinkled onto wet pva glue. I too found it a bit patchy in places but i was spraying it sand colour anyway to get rid of the unrealistic sparkly effect so maybe you could give the grass a light spray of various green shades which would take care of the bare patches, the static grass can sometimes look too bright straight from the packet anyway. Someone with more experience than me will hopefully add some more ideas but hope this helps in the meantime, cheers tony
