The Judith and Holofernes by Caravaggio where Judy is beheading Holo saving her town from destrction.
 
I must say that Caravaggio seems to have been a very dark person, however I do rather like his St Jerome writing though.

..... There are a few M.P.s that should be sorted like that..... quite a few,actually!!
 
At least Holofornes was spared the edge of my former Mother-in-Laws's tongue ... :cool:
