I have completed the Valkyrie , I think I did a bit too much on the chipping , I can get carried away sometimes,

Not a bad kit but not a great one , it did need a bit of taping up for the rear stabilisers to meet the the rear cross fin and I did have a slight bend in the mid section causing one wing to be higher than the other , the front canopy needs a fare bit of filing down on the inside for it so sit properly if you put the figure in as the arms stick out a bit ,

The instructions are odd as there are no part numbers so you have find them by sight and one piece is missing from the instructions altogether and it's a needed part if you want the canopy closed

Decals are a nightmare, they are all on one sheet so you have to cut them quite closes to the edge so you don't have too much overlap , this is a problem as you hav nowhere to hold them with

Now my mistake! I trod on the front canopy breaking it in half so now it has a big crack down the front windscreen

Here's the pics comments welcome

Love it. Just spot on, not too out with the painting and it's a cracking looking kit to boot. Love the slightly faded looking paintwork, particularly the Orange. How did you achieve this?

Great work pops ;)

Cheers Doug , the faded look on the orange it yellow oil paint , just a slight dry brush with it and rubbed in with a clean Bryan brush , the other is just a dry brush of a lighter shade ever so slightly

You've just reminded me to do all the orange bits as I only did one side lol cheers mate :)

And you have reminded me to get some blooming oil paints haha

Nice work! I must admit, having seen a few YouTube vids on chipping etc, that use these 40K models, I am tempted to have a go at one one day - they do seem quite pricey though...

Great build on this Alan ( I'll admit I know nothing on this particular craft but what you have acheived is blinkin awesome.

I take it it is a low ground arrack vehicle/ aircraft of description, so in tun this would effect rage paint colour and chipping. I really am impressed ( envious actually the amount of detail you can achieve in your builds. Weathering efects are second to none

Kind regards

Robert

Robert I have no idea what this is I just like the look of it but I agree that low ground attack/support is a good description:)
