I'm new to the hobby, going to start small with some level 2 1/72 planes. I really want to try a B-17F memphis belle plane in a few months, once I get comfortable, I know there are several options. What do you guys recommend?

If you want to build the historic Belle then make sure whichever kit you choose, is the B-17F with the correct nose glazing. The flying replica of the Belle has the small astrodome one the nose. The restored original features all over the internet, so plenty of reference material there. You can get aftermarket decal sheets if you find a decent F not in the scheme you want
