I absolutely agree Barry. I don't visit many websites, but of the ones I have seen, this is certainly the friendliest.

It was just my thought that this is a modelling forum and while a bit of banter is welcomed by everyone, maybe not all want the distraction of long discussions on other subjects - long discussions on the subject of Dunkelgelb or Olive Drab or panel lines on the other hand .....:smiling3:

I have to say that I fall in Tim's camp. This issue is NOT one of free speech but is one of someone in a position of authority allowing personal views to potentially influence their relationships at work. Authority position is the key here, since every teacher is in that position by definition. Having said that, I have to say that the circumstances as described, are very troubling as far as being dismissed is concerned, and I am sure that Dave could pursue this further if he chose to.
