need to sort out the weathering a bit, matt coat on top of it all, then i can crack on with the bar armour

That’s a really nice result Paul!
I used a bit of clear plastic packaging to do the armoured screens around the turret, and gave them a thinned coat of clear green to get the “look”:
I also made my own slat armour, but to be honest I really wouldn’t recommend it! I have an Academy Warrior in the stash, with an AA resin interior, AA slat armour and Fruils. One of those long-term builds, when I become sufficiently unhinged enough to start it...
