Howdy guys,

Well, it was raining today so....what better time to build a model? Today's "quickie" is Eduard's 1:48th scale model of Chuck Yeagers famous first X plane, the Bell X-1 nicknamed "Glamorous Glennis" after Yeagers wife.

As you all know the Bell X-1 is best known for being the first piloted aircraft to break the sound barrier.

Anyway, I wont get into a history lesson so here she is on my driveway, after 1 & 1/2 hours of work:

You are certainly building up quite a fleet there Greg ! the Bell X-1 has always been my favourite X-Plane,and that orange finish looks the part as well,1=48th is a good scale to work with and looks so impressive.
