If you had asked the right question in the first place we could have put you where you needed to be a lot sooner. :)

So just to conclude, You are on the best UK based modelling site there is already, you can buy materials, models and equipment from the best on line modelling supply shop there is, bar none, linked directly to this forum, and anything they don't show on thier web site you only have to ask to see if they can get it for you.

.................and if that all fails go on eBay, enter 'Tamiya Spray' in the search box, tick UK only and pick from any one of the 1700 results.

As a returnee I Surfed the Net, looked at a few model making sites & forums, and settled on this one as the best - wide range of subjects, active forum & discussion with useful comments, and, importantly for an ancient technophobe like me, easy to use & navigate.

I look at other forums now and again, but this is the only one where I'm a member, or subscribed to, or on it, or whatever the term is

MARK P If you can't find what you want from the supplier connected to this forum, why not just buy a modelling magazine and work your way round the advertisers?

Don't worry and didn't come across stupid at all.

Stupid questions are the ones NOT asked.

I think you will fit In here perfectly.

Once you're ready, post some of your builds and completed work.

Will do Dave ;) , I am working on a Tamiya Ducati 1199 at the mo and all I have done up to now is drill out the holes for the brake discs which is thanks to m1ks as I saw his and straight away agreed that the discs do look better drilled out :)

I saw this comment on another forum

If you ask a question you might look silly for five minutes; if you don't ask a question you will look silly for ever

It's always worth using the search facility just to have a dig around and see what has already been discussed as you will nearly always find something useful and interesting amongst the threads here. You will probably also end up going off in an unexpected direction and finind out things you never even realised!

More than anything enjoy your time here and make the most of the archives.

John has a lot,of stuff, and is quick and affordable.
I also use SnMstuff.com as well.
I recommend SnMStuff too, they are a mile from my house so I am in there often, of course I don't have any experience of their mail order service but Sean does always seem to be packing up loads of orders.
