anybody know what colours the 109's engine was haven't any colour pictures in my library so a bit stumped.

Looked in my ref library for some pics I have hope this helps

Essentially black, but a very dark grey will look a lot more realistic in a model. Various pipes and bolt on bits steel or aluminium colour.

A simple Google search for 'Bf109 engine' brings up many images of the engines for various versions.
