Had a good few hours there, worth a trip for the piston heads, go for gift aid and you get unlimited access for a year...cool, that's a rainy weekend sorted!!!

Hi Paul,

The museum is in Sparkford in Somerset.

400 hundred cars...ish, from the 1st automobile, to a Bonneville ambulance (Ghostbusters), Jeep, super cars...and more.

Lisa wanted the Ferrari, XJ220, the big old blue motor that she is posing with, the Mustang and a few more...me, I would of been happy with just the Mustang :)

It's certainly worth a return visit, might go back again in a few weeks

I went to the Haynes Museum a few years ago, and it's very good

If you had to travel much to visit it, there are some other things not too far away to make the journey worthwhile

The Science Museum at Wroughton, Swindon

The Fleet Air Arm Museum, Yeovilton

The Helicopter Museum, Weston - Super - Mare

The Museum of Army Flying, Middle Wallop

It only took us 20 minutes to get to Haynes so everywhere else is going to be an issue...I wouldn't mind a nosy at the Helo museum.

Thanks for the info
