discussion Blocked nozzle - best tool?

Last night after cleaning my airbrush I could not put needle through nozzle. So I soaked in Acetone over night as I was stumped as to what it was. It turned out to be a wad of cotton from a needle cotton bud.

I used this tool which was the only one I had that could actually get through the tip without bending.



I got it for chips and it is still around.



A nifty little extra that took me some time to work out is this;








Anyway I just checked and it’s part of this little set for just over a fiver;

Yes, I have those in my collection, did order the set along with some other items, forgot I had ordered it and spent a morning playing with it before realising what it actually did.

you and me both Mike - except it took me weeks. As I needed to use it I guess the ol sayin ‘necessity is the mother of all invention’ only the item was already invented. Oh well
