125522-37c7fb3ea3af1a8d4a2af4bd13553074.jpg AN i made up a 14 inch long stand for hornet to sit on out of plywood an thinking afterwards i think i should have made it a bit longer but never mind she sits ok in her stand an this is just a thought but ive made the hull to come off the stand so i think at the moment would be nice to have her in a sea invoroment with a 1/200 destroyer sailing along side her but this is at the moment just a fancible idea an may not get off the ground as ive never done this before as normally my big models do sail in real water so ive never thought of doin it will have to have a look at u tube

IMG_1392.jpg HI GUYS well the hornet restart is off as today i said id restart to day an i have but not much done as i was up there in model room for 4 hrs an i spent most of my time hunting for parts as I love kits have put each parts on differnt spruses so i spent today a lot of time just lookin for the parts so today ive made up one part with 4 small parts so this is goin to be a slow build an the part ive made up today is part of the REAR S/S an a pic of it as if you look at the instruckions its part B16

Wow Chris, that is a real monster. Really lucky for you to get it and really lucky for us as we get to see it built.
Looks as if you're off to a good start. That's a clever idea with the pencil and the balsa block.
