Hats off to you Chris because you do take on some challenging difficult builds. When this is done why dont you treat yourself and get involved with a Group Build with a simple less complex model. You would enjoy it I'm sure.

WELL Steve thanks i may just do that as im lookin forward to doin that 1/32 F16 aircraft an fitting lights in it how i do as the eletrics is what i love doin on a model but the G/B would have to be a model thread id like to build thats the problem as i like fast jets really in aircraft as im not into armour builds
ATB SIR but i will build this carrier when i can get over the tedious parts

HI all well on my USS HORNET KIT the love is just not there as so many tiny parts an ive spent 4 hrs on it this morn an at least 2 hrs battleing the carpet monster for the tiny parts ive pinged out of the tweezzers oh dear an this two small parts are all that i managed to do IMG_1450.webp

AN as ive got a lot of rattle can spraying to do on my aircraft kits as they are big kits so i got fed up with them ole paper masks so i bought a proper gas mask an it looks an feels good so now i will be able to spray to my hearts content

YES HI Joe i wish i had bought one yrs ago esp when spraying them big warship hulls but back then the paper masks were strong an did the job but now they are all flimsy an no good at all so i thought ive still got a lot of sprayin to do so get a proper mask its a bit heavy but should do the job better than them ole paper masks as you sir are right it is very important not to breath in them ole paint fumes cheers for you an johns reply an im havin another go at that hornet today so wish me luck as i will build the bloomin ship

You work area looks just like mine only much neater😖
I had those same exact nippers as in last pic....I wondered where they got off to🤨

HI JIM yes ive all the tools an then some i need for modeling but come the time when i want to use the tool i need just cant find it so i spend time lookin for it am more valuble modelin time lost bad enough just tryin to find the parts i need to build this hornet but I LOVE KIT have made every part i need to build a certain section on every other spreue so again more time searching all the sprues for the part an yes i have labeled them with their letter so WHY OH WHY THEY DINT PUT ALL THE PARTS TO MAKE A CERTAIN ITEM ON ONE SPRUE IS BEYOND ME rant over for the time bein but i wont ever build another small scale ship again excepting for the TAMYIA USS ENTERPRISE / UGH

Mask is a good thing - you'll certainly benefit. Your work always impresses me so definitely keep at it.

That's true Chris. What you build, the scale, the complexity and the lighting, most of us wouldn't even attempt.
 
Keep at it mate, I'm in and out like a fiddler's elbow due to 'life' but I enjoy watching your builds - very much indeed! I may be approaching a point where I can actually post some of my work and I'm certain you will also rise above your temporary loss of mojo!! Onwards and upwards mate!

HI Jim R MANY thanks for your kind comments on me an yes i'll try an keep at it doin the builds as got a few to do as long as i can an glad you like what i do but i do these builds like i do just to be different an ive got the instrest as i love doin the lighting

AN HI Steve yes im keeping at building the models but no loss of mojo at the moment whats getting me is the tiny parts an this ole P/E as i never thought id have a problem doin this P/E but this is the first time ive had a kit with it in but i wont buy another as after i finish this hornet im goin to get stuck into that F16 you kindly sent me to light it up but the hornet must be finished firstly an yes be nice to see some of your work sir

AN Done a bit more on hornet today but its not worth takin a picture of the parts ive done today as they are just tedious parts will post some pics when they are worth seein
