HI GUYS
WELL im still struggeling on this hornet but im doin what kevin says an that small steps so after 4 hrs working on it today ive managded to fit some parts on a do some painting on the hangar bay sides an they are very fiddley but had to pack up as jen called me down for my tea an plus the fact i was starvin as my stomake was rumbilin lol

OVERAL what ive built over the last few days which is not much as the insructions are useless an the parts are complex an dont fit untill i cut them down but im getting there on the hornet

Some nice detail coming through Chris.

AN HI Steven yes this is the most complex plastic kit ive ever had an im wasteing valuble modeling time just trying to understand how this ship hangar walls fit togeather as they dont fit so im havin to cut them to size to get them to fit an im bein carefull to make sure ive got the right section as they are not shown numbered very well in the instrucltions an ive swopped them around over 3 times so this build is getting tedious but i will build this carrier just be glad when ive got all the tedious parts an p/e out of the wayApart from the complexity things are coming together nicely Chris, keep it comming

AN HI Joe yes im forceing myself to try an build this carrier as on the real ship its a job to know which hangar sides go where now this is where my hornet book with the real pics of the real ship would have been handy but i still cant find it as had 3 looks around my bomb dump of a model room an still cant find it but this will learn me to keep things tidy in the future but come summer im havin a clear out an jen said she will help me to do that an ive got my boaty freind to try an fit up my shelfs but he has took them over his firstly to strenghen them up as they do bend in the middle so he's goin to fit strengeners on the underside an he wont let me pay him to do it which is very nice of him nice havin freinds ainit

AN now soon goin up to do more battle on this carrier as firstly got to wait downstairs until the mail order guy comes with my parcel today as they now wont just leave it on my doorstep cant understand this as loads of people are complaing of their parcels are bein left in a wrong address what mess up

well todays work on the hornet started off great as soon as jenny came into the model room to see what i was up to an i said ive been hunting for that hornet book an ive looked all around my room an i could not find it so i sat there thinking i give up on that bloomin book as i needed
it to see how the hangar sides fitted an what doors to leave open so no joy but you have geussed it as she found it straight away looking where i did 4 time in a box near the window OH BOY talk about feel small when jen said you could not have looked all that hard OH BOY now i'll never hear the last of it lol BUT IM PLEASED SHE FOUND IT Just have to accept my humble pie lol

SO now the book been found im putting it where i can find it for more info on the ship an its pleased me so much i even had a go at more p/e an thats a wow for me an ive actually started fittin on the hull the hangar sides after cuttin then down to get them to fit so some pics for you guys an the p/e is not great but the best i could manage as jenny held my wrist to stop the shakes in me arm an here a shot of one hangar side what was to big an i had to cut it to right lenght an lookin at it you can see its bent when it should be straight
SO I cut it to lenght two fit so now im up to the point of where ive been wanting to get to an thats fittin on the hangar sides an firstly the strb sides bein fitted as this was the hardest side to fit now some pics i dint notice at the time of fitting but that damm p/e is bent again oh dear will straighten it up later but i think im getting better at fitting on this ole p/e so thats good like they say pracktice makes perfeck but wheather i'll get that far remains to be seen lol
