Glad your back is feeling better. Hope you're not in the dog house with Jen for the paint spill. Hornet is looking great. Not too far to go now.

HI Jim yes feelin much better thanks just got to whatch what i do now again so i dont start my back off again an yes i got off lightly regards the paint spill only because i managded to clean the carpet but she knew it had happened as she could smell the white spirit an yes im pleased im nearly there on the hornet build as cant wait to get back to my big 1/32 planes thanks for your reply sir

HI Joe yes my back feels better now many thanks been hell this back trouble as Bri will attest to an yes again thank you sir for spotting them life boats on the S/S as i studyied all the pics in my hornet book an i have good eye sight but i never picked up on them parts bein lifeboats as it looks like there are two boats one on top of the other an its difficult to see what they are so hats off to you sir for reconniseing what they are as they not shown in the instruckions though cheers what would i do without you guys very well done on spotting it SIR an i will attach it there in postion when i fit the S/S which will be anyday now

G/M GUYS an gals well yesterday i treid to fit on the hull the flight deck an guess what it DONT FIT wont pull down levell with the hull top so had to do some cutting with the dremel an diamon cutter an after the whole afternooni think ive managded to get the deck down acceptable so im just gonna have another dry fit check today before i start to glue the deck down an its goin to be a job so a few inches gluein at a time an im nervous that i must get it right first time as the deck is 4 feet long an if i dont get it glued correctly an it goes off at an angle then the whole model will be binned oh dear

WELL the flight deck went on well thank goodness will show some more pics when im near ready to spot all the B25 on the flight deck

Relieved to hear you got the bridge fixed okay Chris. It would have been a real shame to bin it.
HI Joe yes but the bridge was not the problem the problem was gluein down the flightdeck as if i dint get it right at the start of gluein down at the stern it could have gone off at a tangent an not line up properly then i would have been in trouble as yes i did about half a dozen dryfits to see how the flightdeck layed as it a bit over 4 feet long an once its gluded down an if not a 100% correct there will be no lifting it off to try an get it to sit right as i sweated buckects doin this an i think i made the eletric plug wires a bit to short as dint have much room when i connected it up to get the glue in postion but my wife jen came to the rescue an found me up a very thin flat knife so i could spread the super glue on it then to slide it under the flight deck an then put on a big battery for wheight to stop the flightdeck lifting an glue ok an i had to do this a bit at a time till i got to the bow end an yes sweating like heck in case anything went wrong an i knocked off a couple of small A/A guns but i can refit them to day as now goin up to see whats next to do but its near finished apart from spotting all the B25 on the deck an i will have to have a good look in my hornet book to see how they were spotted on the flightdeck (PHEW) i must admit i havnt enjoyed building this ship an planes at all so many probs to solve an im glad i dint try an make it sail like most of my boatymates up the pond wanted me too wouldnt last 5 miniutes on the water lol THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY Joe

HI all just an update on how things are goin on the hornet nearly done now as regards the flightdeck i managded to get it glued down ok thank goodness as just a few more parts of P/E to fit TO S/S (IF I CAN) an this ship is so big i can hardly get it in the camera veiwer as if i try an get the whole ship in the detail wont be seen an a pic for you guys that are instrested in her 
yes a bit more P/E to fit just got to hope i dont get the shakes 
AN YES the flightdeck lites all work ok as had a close call on fittin the eletric plug as i nearly started to glue down the deck without connecting up the eletrics plug so easy to get ahead of myself 
AN i also fitted 2x 2mm red led in the bridge for battle lighting but i dint notice that crack on the mounting on the deck so will have to fit in some filler an repaint the grey 
AN BEFORE i fit on the other small parts on the S/S an the B25 s i have decided just try on the 3 figter planes to proteck the ship in case any enamy planes comin in which case they were goin to push the B25 s over board to give room for the figters to take off to protect the ship an ive chosen 2 wilcat an a dauntless i think it is an these planes will be spotted on the deck in between the B25s
