boatman's 1/72 HMS Tiger C20 build

HI Jack im glad you are enjoying seeing her come to life as am i an i had it all planned out what i was goin to do on the wireing today but more frustrations have hit as yesterday with jens help i got quite few wires all connected up an was working on it for quite a few hrs but i think ive over done it as today my back injury is now playing up

so can hardly move as in quite a bit of pain an just took some pain killers hopeing they will ease it so i think im gonna have to have a rest day an see if it will ease off as last time i had this back pain it took 10 days to ease off an i dont want to have to wait that long to carry on Aaaaacccchhh always something stoppin me from workin on her might have a little go at tryin to solder some wires on the new plug system i made the other day but will see how it goes

You take it easy Chris, wiring can cause a lot of pain as you are hunched over and if you already have problems they can make it worse. Relax and take the day off mate.

HI Again Si yes i think thats what i will do an you are right as im stooping to get to the wirein in the hull so yes i have rest day as jen says she is gonna put me in a hot bath to have soak me musels in me back as i have scatia anyway now i know a little how you feel its horrible not bein able to do what you want to do is'nt it

Can we have a whipround and buy Chris his own dry dock? Pretty sure he could just make a real one.

Epsom salts in the hot bath will pull out muscle bad stuff.

HI Andy yea it would be nice an:thinking: a real ship dont think so lol :rolling: :smiling::smiling:as it took a whole dockyard of skilled workers to build the real one an it still took them 20 yrs to build her CHEERS for looking in on the build Andy

THANKS PaulE BUT i now feel a lot better as jen stuck me in the bath an let me soak in the hot water an then rubbed into my back some ice cream made for back trouble an it worked a treat an to day i have been gettin stuck into the wireing again an im now up to the point where i cant do anymore till this 44 pin plug turns up but ive been trying things today to see if i have got all the wirein in the bow section right an i have THANK GOODNESS an now the R/X is fitted into its postion an things now all work from my R/C T/X an im very pleased an now some pics of what i have done today

Good progress on the monster. I know there's a long way to go but I really look forward to the launching.

HI Jim yes jen is in charge of my health lol an as you say what would we do without them as jen is a gem well for a starters i still dont know how to work that washing machine i think it more hitek than my tiger lol

an its only steaming slowy as it will get more action on the steam when its been run abit as this was only on for a few seconds IMG_6865.JPG

an i know the steam unit was only goin for a few seconds but the glass cover dint get any steam globules on it so the steam pipe connects nice an tight to the funnel pipe which im pleased about so its lookin good
