WELL Peter ive only seen one in real life at the battle of britan airshow at RAF COLTISHALL in the early 70's an by gum she was big but i was only still young so it seemed blooming big to me honeastly back in them days we had all sorts of big americn planes flying about here BRILLIANT IT WASNever seen that plane before, will follow along, looks interesting mate...![]()
HI JIM yes so am i an yes so do i an yes i also hope it goes togeather ok but bein an old kit maybe 60 yrs old i also hope that the decals will be ok as when i come to the point of fitting them i will try out a small decal an see if it splinters as ive been wanting this kit since i was a yungonLooking forward to this. Love your big planes all lit up. Hope the fit is ok and the decals work.
AN HI Joe YES SHE looks very sinister as when i saw the real plane it had a frightening look about it an yes im goin to paint her in the box art colours as like the B36 PEACEMAKER THAT was at the same airshow in siler an red an i asked if i remember rightly why it was painted red an silver normal meatal colour an was told if the plane craashed up in the nr artic it would be esayier to see with the red marking in the snowAwesome Chris, the Hustler has a real Cold War beast look to it. The decals look okay in that photo, but it might be a good idea to treat them to a decal bonder of some sort just to be sure.
HI Pete no i havnt will have to try an get someHave you got any Liquid Decal Film Chris? I've used it on really old decals with great success.
Pete
. . . , but it might be a good idea to treat them to a decal bonder of some sort just to be sure.
