AN this kit has been started but not very much but its goin to be a bit awkward to fit the nav lights in the air intake as the gent has already built it but i want to fit nav lights in the air intake sides where they are on the real plane so i will have to have a good think how i can accomplish this on both sides as its green on the starb side an red on the port side so i will leave it for now till ive had a good think on them nav lights more tomorrow

Nice one Chris. You have a puzzle to solve. Maybe you can deconstruct it carefully.
HI Joe yes you are right there but i had a small go at it at 5 am this morning an gently managded to lever off the front air intake where them tiny 2mm led nav light will have to fit like on the real plane so thats a start now ive got to desolder the resistor off the the led wires an pass them through the tiny hole in the intake an try an get the wires through an out the back an then resolder the resistor back on before i power it up wish me luck lol
ATB SIR

Watching with interest. Often there are problems with started kits but in your case the lights add complications. Glad you've managed to fit nav lights.

THANKS Jim yes took most of the day to fit them as it was a job to get them wires through the air intake but its done so now will put on some pics of what TAIMYA has to offer an it quite a complex kit an i'll show how far the poor gent got on the model here before his demise an i think i will do it in the box colours bit drab but got a nice tiger decal on the tail so that may make up for the drab colour with the lightsIMG_1984.webp
