Thread owner
AN ive today just been doin a dry fit of all the fusealarge parts an it all goes togeather resonably good an not as bad as i feared but i dont know what up with me as i spent nearly an hr looking for a wing part on the loads of spruces an i was beginning to use the swear box again an frustration was settin in when i could not find the part so i had a cuppa an wondering why i could not find the parts i wanted an there right in front of me was the wing already built but i dint notice it AAAAARRRRGGGGGGGGGGG OLD AGE is gettin to me oh dear but after id calmed down an thinkin you silly ole sod she was nearly all togher an i thought well apart from playting silly buggers it now looks like a F16 so i will mask up all the lights an then start to put her togeather as this kit is the most complex kit ive ever built in plastic apart from my big R/C warships but they were in a class of their own IMG_2120.webp

HI GUYS still plugin away at this F16 AS ITS TAKEIN a good deal of thought to think out how i want the eletrics to fit in the fusealarge in fact i was so deep in thought with my 60's music goin that i dint hear a linen prop bangin on the window oh dear as id locked jen out as i went i firstly to try an start my car an no joy so i came back in an locked the door an not thinking i had left the keys in the door lock an when jen came home from her freinds she could not get her key in the door to unlock the door so she was locked out for 2 hrs sittin in the sun just as well i wasnt raining an when my music stopped i heard the linen prop banging on the window an looked out side an boy was she angry an i wont say what she said lol but a ear bashin comin to me oh dear an a pic for you guys who love the spitfire this in 3D AS JEN GOT THIS FOR ME OFF A CAR BOOT SALE IMG_2129.webp

well i now feel as though im gettin somewhere on this model after all the frustrations ive had on it but its comin on as today after about 6 dry fits to make sure i havnt missed any part that may get in the way an stop it all comin together i managded to glue the top half rear part of the fuselalage to the main bottom fusealarge an ive jioned up all the eletric plugs to make sure all the 13 led lights all work an yes they do an now some pics an here a shot of the 3 main eletric plugs that have to all plug togeather in a special way if not the som lights wont work but ive now numbered them so i know which plug fits the right one IMG_2130.webp

AN here a exsploded veiw of the fusealarge an plugs not jione togeather yet an its gettin complicated here now as once glued there will be no opening it up again to put anything right so thats the reasons why i have done 6 dry fits

an front section not gluded yet but it a good fit very tight an in that big hole on top there has to be a big screw fitted in an then a cover will fit over it as i really must say this is the hardest kit ive ever attempted an the most complex even with some small parts missing it goin together well IMG_2124.webp

Engine looks good Chris, it would be nice to see it displayed alongside the aeroplane.
AN Flyjoe IF TAMYIA had their way this would not be possible as when fitting both rear fusalarges togeather if i had built it to the instructions i would not be able to get the engine in an out as they have fitted plastic pins that go down into the engine mounting to hold the engine in place so it would not come out so i have ground them off an now the engine goes in the fusalarge ok an slides out ok just as well i dint follow them instructions an shot here of the top pin that was made to fit into the engine that slides down in the engine slot an the pin that i ground off right at the top of the pic as its part of the ruddrer pin which i dint need so it had to go IMG_2134.webp
