discussion BOATMANS USS ENTERPRIE CVN 65 in 1/350 SCALE WITH LIGHTS

HI GUYS well i think im due for a change from aircraft to a ship that should make battleshipbob happy an she is called THE BIG E this is quite a biggee so today a few pics as dont want to fit in all the spruces do i'll spend half the day just fitting them all on an there are a lot an parts golor an today i will just be studying the instructions booklets as they have given me two dont know why but well they are in the box so i'll have a study an got to make up the stand first to fit the gold connecter pins that will carry the eletric up to the hull to power all the lights 2mm led that will light up the bridge an flight deck so just a few pics today

HERE the hull an flightdeck an got them screws again like in THE F16 as i bought this kit i wont have any missing like in the F16 but it got built all the same an as its a smaller scale she is not as big as the hornet but not to far short

Here THE ONE OF TWO instruction booklets Should look a nice model all lit up an i also bought some ready painted crew figers to fit on the flightdeck an in the bridge

AN the mini planes an they even have their own undercarts which i find amaseing this should be fun painting these all up in their sqr colours

This kit was released in 1984 to be fair Chris. A lot of other manufacturers have come along, and like anything else, improved or added detail.

I remember getting the very first Tamiya Magazine and seeing this beauty on the cover. Then came the movies with carrier scenes so it probably became ever more popular. I'm really looking forward to seeing this built up.

HI JIM yes she gonna be a biggee all right but the tiny planes look fairly good as they are made in the grey plastic as what put me off the B25 'on the HORNET was that crappy old glass plastic that was very brittle an the glue would not stick an parts kept droppin off but these tiny plane i dont think i will mind an they have decales also about 3mm long now they may get me but never say die as i nearly had it on that F16 but you guys keep given me a push an i find i can build the model so you all keep pushing me lol
