Bob are we talking of glass or bottle in this instance.
Just been to A & E gashed a 2" hole in leg. Did not realize I had so much blood.
Stitched & Doc says OK go home and have a few glasses of red wine.
Only got white says I could I have a weeks prescription. No. Shame.

Dusting my model room Monica. An every Friday job. Forgot you have to use the steps
on the step ladder one by one. Slid down the steps. It was much quicker. But ouch.
All OK 6 stitches & younger daughter took me to A & E. Spent an hour waiting.
But my daughter & I had so much fun & laughter talking about our family it was
worth the sliding effort.
Problem one of slippers is now coloured red. Also a problem thinking I am fifty
in place of acting my age.

oh ouch ,so glad your not doing so bad but still quite the nasty thing to happen,i know what i would be doing
with that ladder i tell you and as for dusting well,be looking at a different way to get that lot do,hope it all heals
up fast and your back to good soon take care
