Well after then best drive up here we've ever had 6 hrs. We're up here delivering Xmas presents (the missus family) won't be back till Tuesday, so no modelling :(

Better get cracking when you back Ken! After you've tackled the snowdrifts etc etc  :P :)

be a nice little brake for you,for a few days, and then have it all sorted ,before the big xmas rush, and the weather sets in, ;)

Hi all back in the hotel enjoying a dram in bed, brrrr they turn the heating off early here.

I live just south of Glasgow and I love it here in Scotland.

You have to have a good warm jumper in winter and a good warm jacket ( other than that it's a wonderful place Scotland!!!

To be honest you need warm and dry gear all year round as sometimes in the morning it's raining then it's sunny then in afternoon it's blowing a Gail and by evening it's snowing................ That's just the summer months!!!!!

My missus comes from Kirkcudbright near castle Douglas we try to come up here at least twice a year, normally we stay at her parents but they are getting too old for that now so I insisted we stay at a hotel (they're still cross about that) the trouble is (due to medical conditions) they sleep in separate beds so her dad always gives up his bed and sleeps in the living room, I'm just not having that any more at 76 the poor old man deserves the comfort of his own bed.

I know how you feel Ken, the drive seems relentless but well worth it to be in 'Gods wonderful country'.

The better half in my life is from Ayrshire but moved to North Lanarkshire latter in life.

Now she is suffering with me in Birmingham definitely NOT 'Gods wonderful country'!

Cheers Ken enjoy Scotland it truly is beautiful.

I totally agree Scotland is beautiful in winter its all rugged and dramatic and in summer it is truly picturesque oh oh then there's autumn oooh the colours could there be any more yellows browns and reds, oh let's not forget spring, never knew there could be so many greens, the only competition in my heart for scotland is the lake district, and I've been from the top to the bottom of this country, if I had to pick a perfect place to live, this would be it, I can never fathom why my missus ever moved to england, she showed me where she was born and raised today (god what a beautiful place, you couldn't have prised me away from there with a crowbar (balmangan) god it's breathtaking) I've been with my missus for 15 yrs and I looked at her today and said are you mad, I thought you had more sense.
