Anyone know of a model for the Balliol? My Father-in-Law worked on the A/C after the war and we have popped up to his old place of work recently (one of my ex customers and who have a small museum on everything BP) to have a look at a mock up of one. I would be very nice to build one for him.

Not me Rick but Wonwinglo knows just about everything there is to know about model aircraft. I'd drop him a quick PM and ask him.

Not sure what sort of model and scale you are looking for. As far as plastic kits go the only one I'm aware of is a 1/72 limited run kit done by Pegasus some time ago. They still turn up from time to time,I've never built one but I gather that they are a bit of a labour of love.

Thanks chaps, I've seen the Pegasus one but it could be a problem finding one. I don't mind the hard work if one turns up though.

Any scale is okay really, 1/72 all the way up to 1/24, 1:1 could be a problem! Any medium too, I can turn my hand to most things (I draw the line at hoovering though...).
