Good progress. I need something like you have when I come to paint my body.

Look forward to seeing this progress!

Just something I knocked up in the workshop from a wire hanger and scrap wood. Simple to make but proved very handy. :)

Had a bit of a nightmare with the paint on the body. It's now sitting in a tub of bleach to strip the paint. :(

Looking good Bob, shame about the body paint problems but stick with it. Needs to be right so it is worth spending the time and effort to get there.

Cheers gents, I'll get there with the body, going to change tactics slightly.

I think I might also give the interior a satin varnish and add some brown pin wash to the seat lines to give it a bit more depth.

Mrs B is on an early shift today so I was up at 6am. What better to do than start modelling? :D

Got the interior finished and on the chassis, and got the wheels together. Annoyingly the brake disks had D shaped holes, but the flat bit was in the wrong place so the callipers were all pointing in different directions. I had to file the holes out which will just mean gluing them on instead of the designed press fit.

That interior looks really good Bob. Detail painting isn't my strongpoint :(

Thread owner
Cheers Graham, the detailing was very challenging, I'm not 100% happy with it but it will do and will probably never be seen with the body on. :)

Looking great bob , nice recovery on the paint. Im really liking the colour too , good to see a ferrari in something other than red now and then, cheers tony
