Hi Brad welcome to the build, very nice looking figure, really sharp and very well detailed, good luck with your build sir.

Thanks Pete... Knee's r a knock in, as the standards are so high...

Well it looks like a smashing figure.
Thinking I’d be a tad dubious about painting a large figure too:surprised:
....I can barely manage 1:35, and even then mine look like the kids got hold of it:smiling5:.
I’m sure you’ll do a fine job:thumb2:

Thanks Si, I can't do 1/35 either,.. all for the love of the hobby.. Lol

A wonderful figure and a great choice. I have a picture of the completed figure taken at a model show if you are interested in colours. final look etc. It was all done in oils.

Steve , yes please, that would be of great help, thanks.:thumb2::thumb2:

Oh dear that's done it..no pressure then.. Lol.... Thanks Steve.:anguished::thumb2:

Thanks for the vote of confidence Ian, I'll try.:thumb2:

Nice progress Brad.
I hope your version will be more realistic and have some mud on his boots etc. Not like that squeeky clean dude our good buddy Steve posted!

Thread owner
Aww more stuff to try and do, lol, ok muddy it might be...maybe... Not... Dunno... Don't panic... Help...

Thread owner
Ignore everyone Brad.
Steve will insist on the helmet having camo and Ron will want that mud and half a pizza base for the base. :smiling3::smiling3::smiling3:
Crack on, just enjoy, and panic later.
John.
