Question : I don't want to sound dumb here but your cutaway will this include the running gear ( like slicing through a road wheel and partial of the track to show how it's all connected or is this too far?

That is going just a bit far for me, our group build only requires the interior being visible. However you could go this far if you wanted.

None at all the upper hull hasn't been glued to the lower half yet.
