Bit more done and had to order more paint (used most of the life color German U-boat set 2)
Used what little paint I have and used a micro led for the tower/sail, my Paint from John is coming Monday

YES Bri like Scotie said an exseelent build an yes the light you have fitted in the connin tower is just right an looks fab this should look great when done an hope it will be in pride of place in the livein room for all your visitin guests to look at an appreciate as thats where my tomcat will go when ive finished it as jen dont mind my models bein in the best room

As always your patience and skill does you credit and it shows in the quality of the build.
She was only joking Chris. and I would need a cover of some sorts to keep the dust out .....and that would be too expensive.

Come on Trumpeter, terrible fit along the seam used some dissolved putty to fill, sanding and repaint tomorrow :sad:

WELL It seems to me all trumpys kits are a bad fit then as you bri also havin bad fittin parts like my tomcat oh dear
To be honest this is the first Trumpeter kit I have had problems with. But I have only built a few
As far as I remember, this is your first negative issue Brian. Not too much of an issue though I hope!! The build is truly a thing of beauty. Some amazing work.

Was hoping to get the conning tower/sail done today but I managed to break a grabrail getting it off the sprue fixed it as best I can do, but will need to go off properly before I go poking again
Managed to finish the tower just a bit of paint and weathering
