Probably the most complicated model that I've actually finished. Each engine was if memory serves over sixty pieces each. The Lewis guns were at least two each. The tail plane was especially... unforgiving? No the tail plane actively hated you for the presumption of attempting to built it. The rigging is made of stretched spru and my tears. It is also about half of what the instructions showed. The paint scheme is actually historic. The F2.A was pretty good for its time and the RAF seems to have taken less a I-hope-they-don't-see-us approach and more of a come-on-then-if-you-think-your-hard-enough. Over and above the usual lets-cover-our-planes-with-bullseyes.
I do find the lack of crew figures a bit of an odd omission from the kit. But I suppose how else would you see the padded armchairs the pilots got.
