the groundwork is stunning mate, as to the chain I make my own I twist the thinnest wire I have until i reach the tightness I require then gently flatten it with some pliers. IMHO it looks a lot better than etch chain.

Little update report on painting the stowage items

It has all been base painted with Vallejo acrylics and I have started the weathering process with some MIG enamels. It took some time to whittle down the selection of items I had prepared but I’m now happy with how they are now positioned. All I have to do is remember how it all sits, get the oils out and add some refinement to it all before fixing in place.
