Thanks, still trying to replicate HESCOs w/o doing them one by one as in Plan C. PaulE

Wonderful progress Paul if the picture would be black and white I could never tell its a dio! It looks so real! Well done sir! Following with interest regards Danny

That's impressively detailed for such a small scale! Are those ROCO minitank kits?

Thread owner
Thank you Gern. Most are. The figs are a mix of ROCO & Preiser. The skip loader is unknown & the Boxers are ArsenalM. Molded-on grabs & lift/tow points are opened up or replaced w/wire. I use Peddinghouse decals a lot along w/bristle or guitar string antennae. PaulE

HESCOs impeding mojo. Added recognition panels to moving or planned to move vehicles. C&Cs encouraged. PaulE

The model Steve. Don't know why color got washed out. Must have been flash. The model is loosely based on a composit of several FOBs & a BW lager within a larger FOB. I made it more or less freestanding by adding more amenities like Aid station, more supply containers, showers, a/c TOC & bunkhouse. The Gepard was inspired by an in country test firing photo I saw. Hi Paul
So glad you made it here. I love your big, full of interest dios. This is one of your best.

Thanks Jimbo, the HESCOs have crushed my mojo so I've been searching for the build photos to include here & dreaming of cleaning the misc. projects off of the Vette & getting it running. PaulE

More adjustments made, concrete pads glued & coarse dirt applied. Pay no attention to camera dates as they seem to wander some or disappear entirely.

OP blockhouse completed & affixed. More coarse dirt & fine dirt applied. The dark stuff still drying.

Paul,
Glad I caught up with you. HESCOS are still the bane of your existence as I observe. Tremendous progress otherwise! As you well know things are not easy for us 87 scalers.
Keep up the good work,
Rick H.

Paul .
Really pulling together now.:thumb2: Those "main "roads look good. That scale must be hard to work in at times , but you have managed well and pleased you kept going .

Something to report. Progress on HESCOs. Some riprap along the base to prevent erosion/undermining on the one side and a dry fit of WIP HESCO assy on the other side.
