Drive a Large(ish) 4x4 as well. It may well be that they are heavy and tough, but they do rather catch the wind, dont they! The very thought of driving over the bridge was just a bit more than I could justify. lol.
My previous Discovery 2 was a lot "boxier" and lighter and that really moved with the wind!!! Drove across the bridge to Denmark once when it was close to storm winds and I had to steer towards the wind all the way across to avoid disaster...
The Range Rover is better but it's still a box-shaped object and if it wasn't for the weight it would've been horrible to drive in this kind of weather!

It's funny though driving this "box" relatively unaffected by the wind and looking at all the cheap 4x4/SUV/tarmac crawlers how they struggle in the wind... :p

It can't be denied that they do catch the wind... But I can live with that and in a sense it keeps you awake as a driver! :D
