I hope that this request does not contravene any forum rules, if so can a moderator delete and let me know?
I have bought a H&S Ultra 2024 airbrush from the shop and, in their infinite wisdom, no colour cup cap is provided and none are being made. So I was wondering if any of you are able to print me 4 caps from the links below?
I will of course pay for any expenses and postage if anyone is willing to help.

Thanks in advance.

Stefan, if no one is able to help I'm more than happy to turn you a metal cap on my lathe, either brass or aluminium.

I thought it strange and have already had a few inadvertent spills due to leaning over too far!!!!
If anyone does take up the challenge of printing some - I'd be interested too!!

Thank you Bob, I may very well take you up on your very kind offer if nothing else transpires. You would have to talk me through what measurements etc you would need.
If you live close enough I am willing to drop the cup off if it helps.

Stefan

I have an H&S Evolution, the colour cup should be the same on mine so can make one to fit (I already made one for myself). If it doesn't work I can certainly grab yours and make one to fit.

I work in Hemel three days a week (Kodak Tower), so meeting up shouldn't be a problem.

Let me know if you decide to go that route. :)

Hi,
Your offer is most generous and appreciated. Neil ( Mr. Bowcat) has graciously offered to print some up for me but if all else fails I will be in touch.
BTW none of the existing H&S caps apparently fit.

My grateful thanks go out to Neil Merryweather for printing up these colour cup caps for my newly acquired H&S Ultra 2024 airbrush. The red ones fit a treat and the blue ones are a smidgen too tight but that is easily solved.
Thanks also to Mr. Bowcat who offered his services should the printed ones be unsuitable.
Things like this make this forum the best in the world (not just the modelling world).1000019842.jpg1000019843.jpg

Glad you're pleased with them Stefan. I'm looking forward to mine dropping through the letterbox in the next few days. No rush though as I'm out of painting phase at the mo!!! I'm in cussing mode right now!! (Bleeding decals)

Hurrah, mine have arrived. Really pleased. Both as Stefan has already posted. Big thank you to Neil from a very happy Waspie. :thumb2: :smiling3:

Blimey they took their time! I posted them on Tuesday, first class!
Hope they fit.....
The fit is the same as Stefans. Thanks again Neil. Really happy I can tilt the paint pot now!!!

Oh, I may have mentioned. Royal Mail are really bad here!!!!

Just make sure that you grasp the colour cup when removing the cap because if there is any paint left in the cup you may pull/twist the cup out of its compression fit and lose the paint over the bench/yourself. Ask me how I know!

Oh dear!! I must admit it had crossed my mind after dry fitting mine. Forewarned is forearmed as they say. Thanks for the warning though.
At least when I rest for a second after a spraying a small area I won't have to worry about spilling paint from the cup.
