Guys and gals (sorry alan) the Bentley is winning hands down (what was that you said about a poll alan) looks like that will be the winner. You never know I may get enough money Christmas to buy both but this is about what. My missus buys me up to £100.00 and I have looked from Seaview to munster and these are the two I keep commingled back too I do love the Bentley but the typhoon is super detailed and that's what attracts me and one that one but nostalgia attracts me to the Bentley, I built it in my younger years (with an electric motor as I remember) when I built itvi thought it was good but it was probably rubbish, would love to do it justice, even if the mould is old)

Each to there own Ken , a car to me is a car nothing special , a hilman imp can get you to where you have to go the same as a Maserati, a porche , a rolls Royce, so I personally don't see them as special :)

I will take issue on the typhoon not being iconic , the best ground attack aircraft of WWII! Flew more sorties after d day than the p51 and had a better success rate as well , I will add that although it was to be a replacement for the hurricane it turned out to be the best in the ground attack role :)

Hey Alan no scorn intended on such a plane I know it did great service. With models its an emotional thing the typhoon may have been, and was a great plane but, it's not about that it's about feelings, I do love the details in the typhoon, that was my dilemma, detail against nostalgia. And hey you never know I may get enough money Christmas to get both. Yippie.

Your spot on Ken I was just looking at it from my perspective and ment no ill will , at the end of the day we all have our favourite things and as builders we have our reasons for what we do , I'm sure what ever you build it will be great and I know you'll do it justice

The written word can sometimes be seen different than what is actually ment :)

Except if your having a dig a british aircraft :D :P

Typhoon, Typhoon Typhoon, blah blah blah,,,, so good they redesigned it and made the better Tempest!

Go for the car, I'm sick to death of hearing about the Typhoon since Airfix launched it, so many people building it it's a bore.

Haha ok, I just said that to wind up the Typhoon lovers :)

Seriously build what you deep down want to build, in the end you will enjoy which ever you build :)

Poor deluded fool you have to pity him
The thing is Ken, Alan builds that much stuff his brain has gone soft from the fumes...sprue syndrome it's called...it is very sad. No known cure, he will soon start using the instruction sheets for bedding and eating model parts...poor Al. :(

I'll have you know me and my inner demon are doing just fine !

It's the wallet that has the problem !

Bloody splitter !!!

I don't have one in stock and looking at the Airfix site it says last one, providing I can get it then yes I will do at the same price.
