You can take a look at they web site...

www.barmillsmodels.com

They have an excellent stuff and great models as a reference, is you want to do it as a scratch build!

Anyway, as the buildings are all wooden made, you can "play" with the kit and change some walls or their moduls.

In each model you will find some builds (photos) by different modelers and all they have their modifications :)

Hi.

I haven’t done much modelling those last days.....but I really take my time on this one. And I love it!

I painted and weathered these corner strips.

First an acrylic grey paint coat. Then I added a second coat of white ink. And the last step is an Olive Grey filter (acrylic).

The ramp is painted but not glued yet....

Chaps....by the moment I’m really enjoying building this kit!!! Is another world!!

You must play and improve new things.....and, any instructions sheet, say you how to paint the model in German Grey colour reference # # # # #..... You are really free :)

I glued the lateral walls incorrectly, the other day.....and there is any problem. Solved!!!

With a plastic one... this turned a disaster sure :)

Thanks Moni!

I'm planning, maybe, build the stone wall with a real ones.......

If you have real wood, why not real stones as well :)

Coming together nicely now,Polux.

I think your idea of real stones would look great. :)

(This front door isn't finished yet....need the wooden laterals) :P

Maybe, the weak point of the kit is the windows. They are made using plastic....so the difference from all others wooden pieces is always visible. If I decided, next time, do the same weathering will change the technique, noted ;)
