The Challenger is now complete, so here are the pics below.

On this detail you can see the frame I made for the indicator lights, other details were the 'wing nuts' for the antennae, Cmdrs hatch and loaders hatch, front and rear lights....
Please enjoy,
Cheers,
Mike.

To you all,
Many thanks for your comments, the old mojo was beginning to wilt a bit, but your comments have given me a boost.
Many thanks,
Mike.

Didnt expect to see this done yet! What a fantastic finish. Its been a terrific build to watch come together. A real tribute to your craftsmanship. Thanks for sharing.

I'm with the guys here Mike Older Than Me person. I have quietly watched this work come together with a whole lot of goodies and fantastic moggelling skills both with plastic, etch and carpet. I love the way you have laid carpet all over the hull and the turret. It is truly a shame you painted it over with green as the original color was very good…..

As I poured over your work, I did notice an error or two though Sir. Nowhere in the build did you mention whether you used pile or a form of shag carpet on the hull and turret. I have scoured the pictures and have also found that you have totally overlooked the addition of vacuum cleaner outlets to plug in the hose for cleaning the carpeted areas...

Now Sir, I am afraid this goes 100% against the rules laid down by the ASPCA or the English equivalent ESPCA. No, nothing to do with animals I'm afraid. It stands for American or English Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Armor or Armour as the case may be.

I only hope that they overlook these infractions and don't come knocking on your door, any time soon, to serve you papers that state the amount of fine you have to pay for your errors of the way….

Other than that, this is one hell of a build Mike and I tip my hat to ya!!!!!!

Bleib Gesund
Allen
