A few of you asked if this was any good so heres a quick review

It was under 40 quid so wasnt expecting Iwata quality......when i was looking on amazon i deliberatly picked this one as the ab seemed better than most....interchangable paint cups....easy adjustable needle

Paint used was vallejo air with a splash of vallejo thinner

First thing that struck me was how quiet it was.......im used to having a compressor chugging away....this was like a muted buzz! Ive heard bumble bees that are noisier!

Battery is supposed to last @40 minutes which is more than ample but id be interested to see if pressure drops as the battery power drops too.....time will tell

I did some squiggles on paper and it surprised me how controlable it was........it wasnt mega crisp but i just sploshed some paint in the cup and went for it.....need to practice to get thinner ratio right and needle settings but thats normal for a new ab

I attached the pump directly to the ab but you also get a hose to go between them if you desire but it aint heavy

I decided to freehand some camo on the teeny tiger since it was going ok......then did a colour change.....easy to flush thro and away it went again with red brown

Im quite impressed with it but i have only used it the once.....ask me again in a few models time

Oh....and something else

I havnt even bothered with a proper paint box with extraction......ive just tipped a big plastic storage box on its side.......there aint enough pressure to make a cloud of atomised paint...obviously id only do this with waterbased paint.......according to instructions its about 20psi.......id have liked a bit more but when you think how tiny the compressor actually is its enough......and it dosnt 'pulse' like my old big compressor did sometimes

Results for a first use straight out of the packing look good. I think if it's 20psi that's plenty. Certainly very good value for money. It will be interesting to see how it performs when you've got more practice in and also if it keeps working fine over time.

Paul whats the name or number of this air brush as i would be very instrested in buying one as my freind deals with amazon
cheers if you can let me know

Paul whats the name or number of this air brush

Typical amazon as there is nothing on the box giving model numbers etc......but there is this label

However.......

When i looked at my amazon order it said the seller is 'carpower' and its is made by 'lieberwell' and the model number is 'HB06W'.......but the instructions in the box have no manufacturer name and its a 'HB06L'

think i just searched for rechargable air brush then looked through what came up.....and picked this one simply cos the ab looked better than the others

The black cylinder is both a rechargable battery and the compressor in one unit......you get a cable which has a usb connector to charge it with

My wife bought me similar for Christmas 2023.Think it was an Amazon Purchase.Think its more for nail salons.Rechargeable but it seems the air pressure is up around 30psi so could be a problem.

I have been looking at these, and just a slight concern, one of the recent reviews does say that the battery died! He did get it going again buy soldering in a new battery. Hope yours last longer matey? As ever, there's always good and bad reviews, so you take each with a pinch of salt, etc.
