Bring it on Greg,

As you should all know, today was the start of the Korean War, 68 years ago. Today is also a special day for my brother Ron as he was born on June 25, 1950. I think he was part of the reason for the war...

Prost
Allen

Great start Greg, and pleased you've decided to carry it on here.
I shall sit near Paul and Ron, but not on anyone's knee:surprised: Has Steve brought the biscuits ? its his turn.
John .

Hi Greg
Nice collection of kits and stuff. Can I please ask "What is Parafilm and what is its use?"
Jim

Hey Allen, John, and the others...it will start very very soon :tears-of-joy::tears-of-joy::tears-of-joy::tears-of-joy:
Jim R.. Parafilm is a Laboratory film to seal (medically) without glue, items. So it's a PERFECT tool to make canvas... tarps and also to cover glass for paiting.
To use it it's SUPER simple... Pull.. peel.. stretch apply and paint...View attachment 306019View attachment 306020View attachment 306021

Hi Greg
Thanks for the answer. Looks interesting stuff. Some work on the howitzer but as you say - all fun :smiling3:
Jim

And the magic begins!:thumb2:

Really looking forward to seeing another one of your masterpieces come together Greg. Good luck mate

Just seen a program about this, they showed some real guts to survive that. A great idea and a nice start.

Evening Greg,

Great to see we are off and running on this huge project. Older kits do need lots of love and work to make them shine. I do have to ask a question though. Who makes the chain you are using on the howitzer??? I do need to get some with small links like that. Thanks in advance Sir and drive on! It's gonna be good!!!

You are welcome Jim and thank you Steve

Indeed Ian it was one hell of a fight and especially the moment at the Fuchillin pass was really one of the most dangerous and stunning moment.. when the tread-way bridges were brought at the dam and at the same time the seize of hill 1081
