I haven' had chance to dig into it really yet (grandchildren descendeth) but it's big, there is a lot of plastic in there and it'll be a foot long at least. At 1/72 scale this must have been a real monster.........

I must have been very good :D

That is a superb kit Peter, either she loves you or is softening the blow of the divorce that is coming in the New Year :D

Is it some kind of extractor thingy?........ I don't use an airbrush.
It certainly is but not to be used as in the picture ore you could end up with supercharged paint fumes in your face lol. The flat pipe end goes in a gap in the window or door to vent it outside.

Yes. It sucks away the fumes. I have one and it works well, at least for acrylics which don't produce fumes as much as enamels which are based on White Spirit.

Very nice...... I like that. Is it a double planked mahogany hull ?
yes it is and there is plenty of space to convert to RC if you wanted to its not small at nearly 1Meter long. all the metal parts are chromed as well not shiny plastic stuff lol

Yes I like it a lot. I`'ll look forward to seeing you build it

I got some things, not very exciting but very useful: material for a little bit of scratch building like various thickness of styrene sheet and sections, rust pigments and the associated fluids, and some tiny dressmaker's pins the explanation for which will need to await the completion of the small scratch built object.

Unless someone can guess what the pins could be used for. (The prize will be a photo of a bottle of whiskey I got for Christmas.)

The heads would make great rivet detail:)
