discussion chrome onto bodywork

Ok... I need to attach chrome door handles to the doors. They are so thin removing the paintwork to get to the plastic exposed means the chrome won't cover the scratched area? Will a pva (clear drying glue) stick to the paint & chrome?

Yes you can use pva.


If I were you, I would only us a very small amount.


Also only add the handles when all the work on the model is complete.

Brilliant. I'm waiting for some bits to dry up then I think I'm not far from final assembly. a few bits to hand paint but just black . Thankyou!
