So then, if i've got this right ....

I can use an already built model of a 1/72 spitfire .... mangle it gently to suit, and include it in a little diorama of some form of "crash"

If this is the case then i'll have a bash at the afore-said spitfire that has had to force land somewhere in Europe... coming to rest nose-first in a barn after taking a few saplings/trees/bushes (maybe an outhouse or little shed) out along the way

Just checking this follows the rules Ian?

*Edit* realised people had their name in title ... makes sense ...... DOH :)

Sounds to me like it has crashed into the barn, so yes, no problems there. Others are also using an old kit for their victim so go ahead. I do expect to see a bit of creative destruction on it though!!! lol-

Sounds like a good little scene and I look forward to seeing it develop.

Sprue shots of the diorama materials. Love it!

Colin are you sure that you have the right spit?

Seems a good sacrafice for a good gb tho so i guess it is fitting o have a superb "canvas"

certainly do mate. this is the kit I received as a free gift from airfix after a problem with another kit to show how good their moulding is now. the fit was terrible, I had to file off the locating lugs for the seat assembly so the fuselage halves would go together. the wings had more gaps than a hill billies teeth and it was a general disappointment to make so I had great pleasure a minute ago chopping it to pieces :)

So what your saying Colin is that i wasn't a very good kit to put together :grinball1:

Hmmm clearly our humour seems to be similar, we could form a comedy duo .... we could do pubs, clubs ........ bar-mitzphahs ................. funerals ..... heh heh heh :) :) :)

Seriously though, i'm quite looking forward to doing this build.

They look really good! I guess the idea would work for bricks too....

Ive seen a similar wall done but the kid coloured the filler while it was still wet with a few drops of acrylic added to the wet mix

Fantastic job on that wall mate.
