A first 'dress rehearsal' for me and my mate in our Star Trek costumes. All went well, but it was hard going as I was so warm and the coat is heavy, plenty of rest periods and fluids.

Some piccies of a a rather fat Starfleet Officer...

A rather serious looking Commodore.

And some other guys and gals.

It is called COSPLAY, folk dress up in costumes, all sorts, DR WHO, STAR WARS, ANIME, STAR TREK ETC, you name it and it goes, just a bot of fun really. There are stalls that sell toys, models, collectibles. There are folk signing autographs, Amanda Tapping, Dave Prowse, among others where there today. It can be expensive I bought two patches for £10 and a bottle of water was £2! Autographs can be anything from a tenner to £30. Luckily it was free to get in. I enjoyed this one but it was hard on me, I kept having to to go outside and sit down, totally pooped now.

Well I think zera is looking a bit miffed ! It she might have just realised that they've replaced Caesar with a cuddly toy and I think Spider-Man has just mugged willy wonka :D

Looks like you had a great day mate :)

oh Alan thats so funny i do like it :D gave me a face like that lol,

glad you had a good day of it Si,

I think cosplay is something I could easily enjoy as I used to be involved in medieval and ww2 living history but I'm busy with other stuff and don't have the time I think this would take, great gear on show.
