Throughout the making of the building, your describing of the stages and techniques, coupled with first class pictures, has been first class.

I just need to decide what I will put with it,either a King Tiger or a Tiger.


I'm not so sure about first class photo's though.

I'm not very good at painting diddy figures

they are tricky things some days you can do other days well forget about trying ,lol,


the face is the hardest part I,find real need to be in the mood to do,

This certainly has inspired me to have a go. I need to get some material stock but I can see countless potential in using 'stuff to hand' and still applying the techniques you have so ably demonstrated.


I will admit I have a fobia about attempting a true diorama and I know this is due to a lack of creative and artistic vision. However I feel confident that I can attempt following what you have done here, not to copy, more a metaphorical hand holding exercise. Many thanks for the inspiration.

Congratulations Ralph on a truely informative and educational build,one is never too old to learn somthing new. I've followed this thread from begining to end and enjoyed watching you turn some odd bits and pieces into somthing that could compete to shop bought diarama buildings on an even level,take a well deserved bow,you've earned it. I will look forward to your next build, Kevin.

I ordered the Tamiya 1/48 maintenance set to go with the Tiger and this building.


Now I'm gonna have to paint diddy figures
