I found this to be a great kit from ICM. As expected there were a few very fiddly and fragile parts but the overall fit was as good as it gets.

The upper camo was airbrushed freehand and most of the markings were also sprayed, using homemade masks. Talking of masks, the ASK set I bought for the copious amount of glazing was spot on.

The Eduard space 3d interior decals were a good upgrade I thought, even though there isn't much visible, despite all of that glass.

I'd promised myself that I'd go heavily on the weathering with this, however as always I wimped out. I don't think it's any worse for that but it's a skill I want to work on.

Enough waffle, here are some snaps:

I always enjoy your builds Andy and have come to expect great things from you. But this mate is a step up to another level. As we have said the camo is sublime, I still dont know how you achieved that. Man and Airbrush in perfect harmony I would say.

Like I said before, that's an awesome finished model Andy, love the camo and all the glass panels make it very interesting to look at. A subject you don't see on every desk and it was great fun to read the build topic. Looking forward to the next project. Cheers

Thanks Chris. I couldn't find any pictures, but looking closely at the moulding it seems like a large part of that slides forward, exposing the upper MG while protecting it from the airflow.

Wow!! What a stunner, the work you have out into this build has certainly paid off, the results are excellent.

I don't know how you went about achieving the finish on the camo but, I can only be envious.

Watto 🍻👍

That looks like absolute business Andy! Big round of applause from me. I wouldn't have risked messing up a paint job like that either....

Thanks gents for your fab comments.

As I've mentioned before, I only got into this hobby to have an excuse to play around with airbrushes, so always try to make that part my focus.

Chris, I generally paint my tyres dark grey rather than black but I admit, they do look a bit too light in those pictures.
