Whilst passing an abandoned Syrian SU-100 tank, the Commander of the Israeli M-50 has spotted a potential target.....
The tanks are brush painted with a mixture of acrylics and Humbrol enamels. I've piled all sorts of nonsense onto the M-50. I'm not bothered if they are not historically accurate, it was just good fun to root in my spares box and see what I could use.
I had the Russian tank languishing in a box, so I came up with the idea of re-painting it in Syrian '60's cammo colours and putting it alongside the M-50.
The simple base is a chunk of thick polystyrene packing from a washing machine, cut to suit and painted with household emulsion, then sprinkled with smashed stones. The barricade is made from kitchen foil corrugated sheets and cocktail sticks, with more rubble piled up on to it.
I hope you approve - I hope my Grandson does too!
