I've got a lot of Fonts and Typefaces on my PC, the only problem when trying to replicate military insignia etc to print decals, I never have a font thats anywhere like the fonts I'm trying to reproduce!
A good example of this would be the sort of typefaces often used for the numbers on German WW2 Armour, First world war aircraft and the various fonts used for Sponsors on racing cars etc!
I'm aware that many of these items would probably be designed as a graphic and not actually use a complete font, Aircraft would probably be sign written and the letter styles would vary but...
...has anyone found some good free fonts which capture the look of some of these diverse looking typefaces?
