discussion Contra props in 1/48 scale......

I have found that I need a contra prop for an up coming Spitfire build. Not wishing to spend silly e-bay prices for a mk 47 seafire just to get the prop, I had a hunt around to see if I could find an after market item on t'internet.

Not a lot of luck there!

So does any one here have any good ideas as to where I can get one from.

I did find Joes models in the US, but he replied saying that he don't have any, and has left the info on his web shop "As there as no others that have them" His point being what?

Failing that if some one has a drawing that I can try to scratch one from, that to would be welcome.

Hi,

Just noticed your contra rotating prop question, the jolly old Fairy Gannet had a contra rotating prop , i have just had a quick Google and there are some pretty good pics around a Wikipedia just for starters.

Ian you might have to get some aftermarket prop blades and scratch a hub. Hope you find what ya need!
