Im afraid I need some mathematical boffin

I have the opportunity to purchase some figure moulds. This will enable me to mould and paint my own figures without searching and purchasing at over inflated prices on e-bay

They are, I believe 28mm hero scale and stand about 4cm in height. I would like to know now many ml of liquid I would need to make a mould of them.

For sake of maths, lets pretend they are square boxes, 40mm x 20mm x 20 mm

How much liquid plastic would I need to fill that box? From there I can work out how many figures I can produce from a single bottle (ok, two bottles as its a 2 part mix) and then calculate the cost per figure.

OK, seems I got my figures slightly wrong

It turns out the liquid plastic isnt measured in ml, its measured by weight.

So, either

How much liquid plastic would I need to make a 40mm x 20mm x 20mm block

or

How many 40mm x 20mm x 20mm blocks could I make with 1kg of liquid plastic

Ive taken a rough guess at 50mg to allow for spillage and the bit left over in the pot fo 1kg would make 20 blocks?

Your arithmetic is correct Penny. At 50 gms each you would indeed get 20 figures.
