Kubelwagen.......

This was the magic word that gives me the idea. (Thanks to Alan ;) )

Have a nice finished model on the stash is a good thing.....but is it all?!

Just build it and wait for the next year new tooling one....?

The modelling hasn’t frontiers!!!

Errh....what do you think about this initiative?!?

A few days ago, I asked to the members for an idea. Was possible to build a chess game with model kits? The only problem that the major guys see on the project was the quantum of space that you need to build it, but the other side, the answers were exciting and very creative explaining which could be the best actors on the game.

The chess is a classic game..... But out there, there are some very interesting games that are really fun and they help to work your brain :)

This is a simple draw of one of those games.

Now this is a photo of the real models and the size. Yes!!! You don’t need so much space!!!

I used 1/72 scale models. Not tanks of course....just small bikes and the Kubel :D

These are some other games that can be “copied” with 3D models over a 20x20 cm wood base or similar! The size is just like a normal vignette or diorama....

A different model on your stash.... or could be an original and lovely present for someone.... o_O

Ok! I have a base with 20x20 cm for build a labyrinth with buildings, walls and other objects that made difficult to arrive at “home” to my Kubel. The question is.... How I can do for move the Kubel?? A metal ball?.....but if I glued it on the chassis she will not rolling.....

And no.....I am not mad! I am just an unquiet mind guy :D

Thanks

How about fixing the kits to some simple flat bases to slide around inside the box?

Maybe you could make them like these tiles with two recessed sides and two sides with interlocking pieces to keep everything lined up. I don't think you'd have any problem making them out of plasticard.
