Another great example of how shading pops the detail. Great figure, although a bit of a beast, but more so, great painting Ralph
 
I agree, some seriously good painting there.


I don't know who or what Cygor is but I wouldn't want to bump into one in a dark alley, or anywhere else :)

Amazing truly amazing just out of interest do you ever enter any of your builds into competitions or is it all done for the hell of it only wondering because the level of your work is truly stunning

I have entered competitions ooh about 20 odd years ago,mainly with ships.


These day's I build/paint for myself.


I model pretty much every day as I need to keep my mind busy.
 
simply stunning Ralph,love him,he is a real beast of a critter,


the shadow work ,is great,and your use of tones on him,I do like your style :D

Just caught up with this one Ralph & as ever I'm seriously impressed!


The painting is superb, and with such a complicated subject too - simply amazing :)


Rather reminds me of my ex mother-in-law when I inadvertently put sugar in her tea!
