I'm calling this finished....................fin 01.jpgfin 02.jpgfin 03.jpgfin 04.jpgfin 05.jpgfin 06.jpg

The Trumpeter SU-152 is a very good model, the fit is superb, very little clean up, and really looks the part, when finished. The only beef, I think, could be the complete lack of interior, but that's it.
The KV series from Trumpeter are all pretty good - and better still, you can pick them up at good prices!trumpy kv-2.jpg
Nice introduction to Soviet WWII armour.

Hi Dave,
That's a cracking finish, it certainly was a monster.
regards Jim

Very beautiful work! But do not think that I am carping and I have nothing to do. On KV-2 never wrote inscriptions. Excuse me. I wrote this for those who adhere to realism.

Sergei,
thanks for that :thumb2: Do you know why no inscriptions on KV-2? All other Soviet tanks seem to have had inscriptions..............
Dave

Everything is very simple. At the beginning of the war it was not common. KV-2 were at the beginning of the war but not an experienced crew quickly lost all the tanks. They were either destroyed or captured by the Germans that most often happened. You have noticed that the inscriptions are on the KV-1 and T-34. Because these tanks fought for a long time. the soldiers did not immediately begin to write on tanks at the beginning of the war. Here is a photo of the German KV-2.
